Our Story
Scrap Metal Operations Across Germany, the USA & Poland
Złomrex Group is the raw materials arm of Cognor Group. We purchase ferrous, non-ferrous, and high-alloy scrap from industrial generators, process it through our yard network, and deliver charge material to Cognor Group melt shops and external steelworks.
Frankfurt am Main is our headquarters — home to commercial trade, logistics planning, and group coordination. Zonal offices in Hollywood, Florida and Poraj, Poland handle Americas and Central European purchasing, container logistics, and regional supplier relationships.
Across 12+ branches and 12+ collection sites, yards run weighbridge intake, hydraulic shearing, baling, and shredder feed preparation. The operation moves over 1+ million tonnes annually with a team of 500+ people.
